Faith, Love, and a Perfect Fall Day: Caroline & Patrick’s Christ-Centered Wedding at Keswick Vineyards
Caroline and Patrick’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Sunday, October 13, 2024, was the perfect conclusion to a beautiful fall weekend. The weather was picture-perfect, with the vineyard’s trees showcasing vibrant autumn colors, adding to the natural beauty of the day. But what stood out most was the couple’s unwavering faith in God, which was reflected throughout their ceremony and celebration.
Caroline and Patrick, both deeply religious, made it clear that their relationship is grounded in their Christian faith. From the moment the day began, you could feel the spiritual significance of their union. They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, wanting that special first look to be as Caroline walked down the aisle. Capturing that emotional moment, you can see the love and joy in Patrick’s eyes as he sees his bride for the first time.
Caroline and Patrick’s ceremony, set in front of Edgewood Estate with the fountain as their backdrop, was filled with meaningful spiritual moments. After being pronounced husband and wife, the couple took communion together as their first act of marriage, symbolizing their deep faith and the central role of God in their relationship. It was a beautiful and intimate moment shared with their guests, who joined in singing a hymn. Once they returned to the altar, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, and in a perfectly timed and symbolic touch, the fountain came on, marking the joyous beginning of their married life.
In a beautiful nod to their beliefs, Caroline and Patrick asked their guests to sign a special Bible instead of using a traditional guest book. Each guest was encouraged to find their favorite scripture passage and leave a heartfelt message for the couple. This unique tradition added a personal and spiritual layer to their celebration, ensuring that their wedding day would always be remembered through God’s word.
The reception featured a thoughtful touch with regular banquet tables instead of king or farm tables. These 30-inch-wide tables required simpler floral arrangements down the center due to their narrower width. While the look was elegant, it is worth noting that banquet tables don't provide as much space between plates, especially if seating guests directly across from one another. For those considering a family-style dinner, these tables might pose a challenge, as there wouldn't be enough room for shared platters. With banquet or king tables, linens are a must, unlike farm tables that can go without. It all comes down to the style and atmosphere you want to create, and Caroline and Patrick’s choice offered an intimate, classic setting for their reception.
The evening concluded with a sparkler departure in front of Edgewood Estate and the fountain, providing a dazzling send-off for the newlyweds. Surrounded by their loved ones, many of whom were part of their Christian fellowship through Young Life, Caroline and Patrick left with hearts full of love and faith, ready to embark on their new journey together as husband and wife.
Their wedding day was not just a celebration of love but a testament to their commitment to God and to each other, and it was a true honor to witness such a beautiful expression of faith at Keswick Vineyards.

Love, Laughter, and Velvet: Jack & Josh’s Magical Fall Wedding at Keswick Vineyards
On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Keswick Vineyards hosted the spectacular wedding of Jack & Josh, marking the second celebration of a triple wedding weekend. As one of Charlottesville's premier wedding venues, Keswick always shines, but this event was a visual delight from start to finish.
Jack and Josh brought their personalities and style to life with their wedding attire. Jack wore a dark green velvet jacket, while Josh opted for a rich burgundy velvet jacket, perfectly complementing each other. Their wedding party followed suit, dressed in a stunning combination of black, dark green, and burgundy, adding to the wedding’s vibrant and warm color palette.
The ceremony took place in front of Edgewood Estate, with its iconic fountain serving as the perfect backdrop. The aisle and back row of chairs were lined with greenery in fall hues, beautifully echoing the colors of the changing vineyard. It was a picturesque moment, with the warm autumn scenery of the vineyard enhancing the beauty of this special day.
Jack and Josh's wedding planner did an outstanding job of creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and masculine. An iron chandelier hung above the dance floor, casting a warm glow over the space, while a pink couch and green velvet chairs in the lounge area added a luxurious, inviting feel. You couldn't help but want to settle into that couch with a drink in hand, enjoying the view of everyone celebrating on the dance floor.
The tented reception was nothing short of magical. A long farm table served as the head table, with gorgeous fall foliage suspended above it. The candlelit iron chandelier over the dance floor, paired with iron table numbers, further enhanced the elegant yet rustic feel of the evening. And those desserts! Guests were treated to delicious cupcakes and an impressive donut wall, adding a fun and playful touch to the reception.
Keswick Vineyards takes pride in celebrating love in all its forms, and this wedding was no exception. Jack and Josh's beautiful union was filled with joy, love, and an undeniable sense of community. Keswick is proud to welcome couples of all backgrounds and orientations, providing a breathtaking venue where love stories can unfold in the most memorable way.

An Intimate Fall Affair: Kortnie & Kavanaugh’s Cozy Vineyard Wedding at Keswick
Kortnie & Kavanaugh’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on October 5, 2024, was an intimate celebration that beautifully embraced the essence of fall. The day was perfect, with golden sunlight warming the vineyard during the ceremony and a light evening chill to cap off the day, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It felt like the kind of weather we wish every wedding could have!
Fall colors were front and center, lending a sense of warmth to every detail. The couple’s florals were a testament to this, with rich, autumnal hues adorning the pergola under which they exchanged vows. Positioned in front of the stunning vineyard and mountain backdrop, the setting was picture-perfect. Guests were welcomed to the ceremony by a charming gesture—each was given a fabric sachet filled with petals to toss as Kortnie and Kavanaugh made their exit as newlyweds.
Cocktail hour took place beneath the grand canopy of a 300-year-old oak tree on the East Lawn of Edgewood Estate. The bar featured an adorable sign of their drink options, complete with an illustration of their beloved dog, adding a personal touch. Guests then found their name cards, each propped up by decorative wine corks, seamlessly blending into the vineyard vibe.
The cozy fall ambiance continued as guests entered the Aurora tent for the reception. The pre-set salads, adorned with seasonal squash, were a perfect nod to the autumn harvest. Everything about the décor—from the earthy tones to the thoughtful details—invited guests to settle into the warmth of the evening.
Their cake was a standout feature, both in appearance and flavor. A beautifully crafted sign detailed the flavors, and the pistachio cake with chocolate ganache was as delicious as it sounded! The couple’s attention to detail created a wedding experience that felt personal, seasonal, and incredibly special.
