A letter from a father…
I am reading these reviews and see that nothing is written from the perspective of the father of the bride. Most fathers think that our only role is to ink the signature on the checks, but I assure you, our role is much more important for our little girl. You will quickly discover that the most important role you will play in your daughter’s wedding is to keep the calm throughout what I expect will be about a year of planning. There will be no less than a bazillion decisions to be made and most will not be remembered after your daughter’s special day. With that said, the venue will be the most important and memorial part of this special day.
If you are reading this, I suspect that your daughter and future son-in-law have already selected Keswick Vineyards as their wedding venue and I am here to tell you that they could not have made a better choice. My daughter and her fiancée’ signed her contract in October and had the wedding a year later in November. The staff was remarkable and immediately welcomed us into their family. They treated us with the care and understanding that this was our “once in a lifetime experience”. It is really hard to believe that they do this all of the time and still have this much compassion.
After your blessing of giving your daughter’s hand in marriage, the fun will now begin with your Daddy Do lists and countless responsibilities. Keswick Vineyard has done all of the hard work with their preferred vender list. I would recommend that you not deviate too far from this list; these venders have an established working relationship that runs almost flawlessly. With Keswick Vineyards as the primary, the others will fall into place and it appears that they all know and can predict each other’s needs. Our preferred and perfect vendor list included:
TCO/The Catering Outfit for food and drink
Jeffrey C. Gleason for Photography
Brian Schornberg with Schonberg Media for Videography
With the big decisions confirm, we were then able to focus on the Daddy Do lists.
Despite all of the planning, I was surprised that we were making changes the day before the wedding due to the weather. Keswick and their vender’s ability to work seamlessly together became evident as they had answers to everything and immediately made the required adjustments.
Finally, and without saying too much, Cindy, Al, Jeff, Courtney and Brian have been a pleasure to work with and the surprises kept coming even after the day was over. . . I don’t want to spoil anything, so you will have to wait and see what I am talking about for yourself, but thank you Cindy.
Finally, there can only be one wedding of the century and my daughter already had it, so I am sure that there will be a few hiccups, but you will want to cherish these moment as it will create lasting memories. I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to look back and see how effortless Cindy, Al, Jeff, Courtney and Brian made the entire wedding experience. I have told everyone that Disney could not have scripted a more perfect day for our perfect couple!
Once again, thank you Keswick Vineyards and congratulations Krystian and Aaron. . . . Love you both!
