Luck, Love, and Laughter: Sophia & Ryan’s Unforgettable Vineyard Wedding
Sophia and Ryan’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Friday, September 13, 2024, was nothing short of magical—and no, the date didn’t bring any bad luck! In fact, they embraced the Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon, ensuring perfect weather for their big day. With the lush vineyard as their backdrop, they exchanged vows under a stunning floral arch that blended beautifully with the natural landscape. The close proximity to the vineyard made for an intimate and enchanting ceremony, framed by the vibrant greenery.
Now, while some may shy away from Friday the 13th, worried about potential mishaps, the couple's day was smooth sailing—except for one hilarious and unexpected twist. Just moments before the ceremony, one of the ushers had a wardrobe malfunction like no other! His pants didn’t just tear at the seam; they literally frayed apart from the waistband down to half the pant leg due to worn-out fabric. Luckily, Keswick Vineyards offers more than just a beautiful venue—its owner sews! With a quick dash to her sewing machine, the pants were swiftly repaired, and the show went on without a hitch. It’s those funny behind-the-scenes moments that become some of the best wedding stories.
Inside the Aurora tent, the decor was nothing short of calming sophistication. Muted earth-tone colors filled the space, and the addition of greenery draped over the bistro lights created a warm, inviting atmosphere. The color palette was truly a masterpiece, offering a blend of elegance and nature.
Cocktail hour was not only stylish but also personal. The half-circle bar was adorned with adorable cocktail napkins featuring the couple’s beloved dog, Cooper, adding a playful touch to the celebration. Guests were also treated to matches printed with "Edgewood Estate" as a keepsake from the special day. And who could forget the gelato cart? With four mouthwatering flavors to choose from, it was the perfect treat to cool down and indulge in during the evening.
As the night progressed, guests filled the dance floor, celebrating Sophia and Ryan’s love story. The evening concluded with a final touch of class—cigars for those looking to unwind and savor the moment.
This wedding was the perfect blend of charm, sophistication, and humor, proving that Friday the 13th can, indeed, be a lucky day.
