Obsessed with this tent look
OK, I’ll admit it. I was OBSESSED with the entire look for Allie & Forrest’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Before I even begin, we must give thanks to the Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon because boy did it bless them with such a perfect weather day!
So, let me begin with the very beginning. As soon as guest arrived, they were immediately greeted by servers with trays of sparkling wine to enjoy. Look at the detail of the tray the drinks were on. A clear acrylic tray with a blue lining that matched their welcome sign and a draped napkin reflecting the colors they soon would be swooning in.
Next, guests saw the mountain view, then the iconic fountain, the stately Edgewood Estate, musicians, and giant urns with enormous floral arrangements on them. Such candy for their eyes!!! As the wedding party made their way to the altar, their beauty, especially those cute and adorable flower girls, capture everyone’s attention. And then, the entrance of Allie looking so sophisticated and elegante escorted by her father.
After the ceremony was cocktail hour and just look at the accent panels on this circular bar! WOW!!! I just loved how she had green velvet linens on their cocktail tables that just blended into the background yet with the velvet texture just added a feel of royalty. And if the bar wasn’t enough to impress you, just look at how their seating assignments were displayed! I’ve never seen something like this. The table was covered with moss and then has glass domes covering sheets of paper that listed the table number and names of guests.
Now, reception time. Before guests went down, Allie and Forrest enjoyed a private look of the space. Tears of joy filled Allie’s eyes as she couldn’t believe her vision coming to life right in front of her. Obviously, the floral arrangement hanging over the dance floor and the decorative wall behind the DJ just had everyone in awe. Seriously, just look at how beautiful this is!!! And their chargers, WOW!!!!! I also love the special touch of having a photo of Forrest’s mom occupying her place at the table keeping her memory alive. Sorry for so many photos but I just couldn’t get enough of this décor.
A special moment in every wedding is when the couple have their first dance as a married couple. I just loved how Allie’s parents remained standing behind the couple as they shared their first dance. And then, when it was time for Allie to dance with her father, her mom remained standing in the background to witness up close that special moment we all dream about. I also couldn’t write this blog without mentioning Allie’s father vintage 1951 Chevy car that he road to the wedding in. They sure don’t make them like that anymore.
None of this could have happened without the amazing team of vendors this couple put together consisting of: The amazing wedding planner Kristin Ridge, Catering by Harvest Moon, Pastry Chef Cakes by Rachel, DJ Derek Tobler, The Tuckers Photography (blog linked here: https://thetuckersphotography.com/bridgerton-inspired-wedding-at-keswick-vineyards-allie-forrest/), Tupelo Floral Co., Officiant Dave Norris, Hair by Avenue 42 Salon, Makeup by Captivating Complexion, A&A Limousine for transportation and rentals provided by Argent, Maison de Carine, Something Vintage and Paisley & Jade.
A Magical Wedding at Keswick Vineyards: Celebrating Taylor & Lucas
On a sun-kissed Saturday, June 1st, Taylor and Lucas celebrated their love with a breathtaking wedding at the picturesque Keswick Vineyards. Nestled in the heart of Virginia's wine country, the vineyard offered a lush, verdant backdrop that was nothing short of enchanting for their special day.
Taylor and Lucas chose to surround themselves with their closest friends and family, resulting in one of the largest wedding parties we've ever seen! The bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in light blue dresses, complementing the overall accent color of the wedding. This elegant hue was seamlessly woven throughout the event, from the bridesmaids' dresses to the napkins at the reception and the exquisite blue and white floral arrangements.
The couple exchanged vows right up against the vineyard, with its lush rows of vines creating a serene and beautiful backdrop. A floral arbor, adorned with matching blue and white flowers, framed the couple perfectly, adding a touch of romance to the natural setting. The attention to detail in the floral design truly highlighted the beauty of the surroundings.
In keeping with a Southern tradition believed to ensure good weather on the wedding day, Taylor and Lucas buried a bottle of bourbon at the venue. As fate would have it, the skies were clear and the weather was perfect, adding a touch of magic to their special day.
The reception was held under a spacious tent at Keswick Vineyards, where guests were treated to a delightful evening filled with love, laughter, and celebration. The tables were elegantly set with light blue napkins, tying in the wedding’s accent color, and the florals continued to impress, bringing the beauty of the vineyard indoors.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening was Taylor and Lucas's first dance. Their performance was nothing short of magical, with Lucas skillfully lifting and spinning Taylor to the delight of their guests. It was a captivating display of their love and joy, leaving everyone in awe.
The dessert was a delicious wedding cake that delighted everyone's taste buds. Additionally, a photo booth provided endless entertainment, allowing guests to take funny and memorable pictures to commemorate the night.
As the night drew to a close, Taylor and Lucas departed under a canopy of sparklers, held by their friends and family. The sparkling lights created a magical atmosphere, providing a perfect end to an unforgettable day.
Taylor and Lucas's wedding at Keswick Vineyards was a beautiful celebration of love, surrounded by the lush beauty of the vineyard and the joy of their loved ones. It was a day filled with special moments and memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Vintage Cake???
Savannah & Nicholas’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards on Friday, May 31st, looked like a movie. These two look like models and should be on the cover of magazines! Savannah’s dress, which not too many people could wear a dress like that, with its asymmetrical flared bottom was just stunning. Nicholas in a classic black tuxedo and Savannah in this stunning wedding dress definitely gave you that timeless, elegant, sophisticated feel. If I didn’t know better, I would have said this was a Hollywood couple.
So, I am told a new trend right now for wedding cakes is to have a vintage cake topper. When I saw their wedding cake, I thought I was looking at my parents wedding cake from over 70 years ago! Savannah’s mom had found this cake topper at a vintage store and Savannah did a little paint job to make it match her dark hair and eyes. Again, that timeless, elegant theme was just amplified with this cake. What do you think? Like this new trend? I do!
Not only was their wedding cake a piece of art but look at all the delicious desserts that accompanied the cake. My all-time favorite wedding cake has been mini-bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes so I was thrilled when I saw them. I had just visited that store the day before☺
Once again, a timeless, elegant, classic wedding took place at Keswick Vineyards which provides the perfect backdrop for that theme.

Claire & Chris’s Elegant & Timeless Wedding at Keswick Vineyards
Keswick Vineyards is a gorgeous venue for a wedding, located just outside Charlottesville, Virginia. The estate offers stunning views of the vineyard and the mountains, as well as a historic mansion. Claire and Chris chose this venue for their wedding that took place on Sunday, May 26, 2024, and it was the perfect backdrop for their elegant and timeless theme.
The ceremony took place on the lawn, overlooking the vineyard and the mountains. The weather was perfect, with a clear blue sky and a gentle breeze. Claire and Chris exchanged their vows under a beautiful arch decorated with baby's breath and white roses, creating a romantic and classic look. The ceremony was filled with love and emotion, and the couple sealed their union with a passionate kiss.
The reception was held under a tent, which was elegantly decorated with white linens, white roses, and baby's breath. The head table was a long table with a runner of baby's breath and white roses, and the guests' tables had white floral centerpieces with candles. The reception started with a cocktail hour, where the guests enjoyed some delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The cocktail hour was followed by a formal dinner, where the guests were treated to a delicious meal. The dinner was followed by the cutting of the cake, which was a three-tiered white cake with white icing and white florals. The reception continued with dancing, where the couple had their first dance, formal dances and then invited their guests to join them on the dance floor.
Claire and Chris's wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love and joy. They had a wonderful time with their family and friends, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Their wedding had that elegant and timeless feel to it, with all the white linens, white roses, and baby's breath. They chose a stunning venue, a romantic ceremony, and a fun reception, and made their wedding day their own. Congratulations to Claire and Chris, and we wish them all the best for their future together!
