“The 21st Day of September”

Zoe and Matt’s wedding on the unforgettable "21st day of September" at Keswick Vineyards was a day filled with beauty, creativity, and attention to detail. Just as the famous song celebrates, this day was truly special, not only because of its iconic date but also because of the thoughtful ways in which every little element tied the event together.

The wedding day began with a warm welcome as guests arrived and were greeted by personalized touches. From the very first step, a cohesive design was evident. The welcome sign, table assignment sign, and menu cards all featured a lovely piece of artwork depicting Edgewood Estate, subtly reinforcing the venue's charm and history throughout the event. The same delicate imagery, spread across different pieces, created a seamless visual flow that tied one area of the wedding to the next.

An especially delightful detail was how the couple incorporated Keswick Vineyards into the personal touches. Each individual place card was displayed in a cork from Keswick Vineyards, giving a nod to the venue itself while also adding a rustic charm to the tables. It’s small details like these that truly bring out the couple’s personal connection to the place and make the celebration all the more unique.

Zoe and Matt exchanged their vows in a breathtaking ceremony by the fountain in front of Edgewood Estate. The wedding party’s attire reflected the couple’s eye for elegance and richness. The groomsmen wore blue suits that beautifully complemented the metallic green dresses worn by the bridesmaids, a striking yet sophisticated combination that added a touch of modern flair to the day.

The reception exuded opulence, thanks in large part to the stunning décor. Rich, dark blue tablecloths mixed with white tablecloths draped over the tables inside the pristine white Aurora tent, which was tastefully adorned with greenery swagged across the bistro lights. The simple yet sophisticated greenery paired with the deep tones of blue added to the tent’s elegant ambiance. Marble table numbers further elevated the richness of the décor, making each table feel thoughtfully curated and stylish.

One of the most memorable touches at Zoe and Matt’s wedding was their unique guest book concept. Instead of a traditional book, guests were invited to take Polaroid photos of themselves and tape them into a keepsake album while writing personal messages to the couple. This interactive guest book not only served as a fun activity for guests but also as a heartfelt memento that the couple can look back on, filled with both photos and words of love from their family and friends.

From the personalized cork place cards to the richly decorated tables and the fun guest book, Zoe and Matt’s wedding was a beautiful blend of meaningful details and cohesive elegance. Their big day truly tied together the magic of Keswick Vineyards and the thoughtful touches that made their wedding day one to remember.

A Triple Celebration of Love, Life, and Legacy: Laura & John’s Unforgettable Evening at Keswick Vineyards

John and Laura’s event at Keswick Vineyards on September 14, 2024, was truly a celebration of life's most cherished milestones. Combining their 20th wedding anniversary, John’s retirement, and Laura’s birthday, this party was over 2 ½ years in the making—and it was worth every minute of the wait.

John’s connection to Keswick Vineyards began when he toured the venue for a family member’s wedding. Though that couple chose a different location, John seized the opportunity to plan his own event here. He knew exactly what date he wanted, and as soon as the 2024 calendar opened, John became the first to book.

The day began with a touch of fun, as some of the men, including John, enjoyed a friendly game of miniature golf at Keswick’s tasting room. As the evening approached and guests arrived via bus, John personally greeted them at the welcome table. Each guest found a Yeti cup, personalized with their picture, which would later come in handy at the unforgettable bourbon bar. Also on the welcome table was a large wooden charcuterie board for guests to sign, alongside a beautifully painted landscape of Keswick Vineyards. This painting was not just decor—it was printed on note pads as a unique party favor, alongside the Yeti cups.

The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the celebration, from the opulent florals to the table numbers elegantly displayed on crushed velvet. The formality of the event was palpable, with most guests in tuxedos and formal dresses. Laura dazzled in a stunning dress, paired with John’s matching bow tie made from peacock feathers—a perfect reflection of the couple’s vibrant style.

Family and friends, many of whom had known Laura since kindergarten, filled the evening with warmth and nostalgia. Referred to as "The Golden Girls," her childhood friends were a testament to lifelong bonds. John and Laura ensured the night was enjoyable for all ages, providing babysitting for the young grandchildren and passing out light-up toys that became a hit with both adults and children later in the evening.

One of the most impressive highlights was The Bartlett’s Bourbon Bar, located in the gazebo. John had spent nearly a year perfecting crystal-clear ice balls, a labor of love that required 36 hours to make just two. His hard work paid off as guests delighted in the fine selection of bourbons and scotches.

No celebration is complete without exceptional food, and the guests were treated to a delicious dinner featuring shrimp and beef tenderloin. A humorous surprise awaited Laura as John presented her with a “wife’s cake” shaped like an Amazon delivery box—a playful twist on the traditional groom’s cake. Whether she appreciated the joke or not, it was certainly memorable!

The joy of the evening culminated on the dance floor, where John and Laura’s happiness was evident. Watching them celebrate surrounded by loved ones was truly heartwarming.

John and Laura, congratulations on this incredible celebration, and may your next chapter in life—retirement—be filled with even more joy and love!
